How do I make "Import Pictures and Videos" wizard in Windows 7 more like XP's version

I have Windows 7 Home Premium and I LOVED the way Windows XP's version of "Import Pictures and Videos" wizard would let me decide which photos/videos I wanted to pull off the device, so I could create a folder for each group that I wanted. I can't seem to find that option in Windows 7's version...it's all or nothing, and I don't like the tagging feature...not all my photos have the same tag. =( Is there a way around this or is there a free alternative? I already use Live Photo Gallery to tag the photos AFTER importing, so no, that's not what I'm looking for. I really just want XP's version instead.
