Windows 7 Installation failure, Error code: 0x80070017

I own a legal DVD copy of Windows 7 64 bit. I am attempting to reinstall it on my computer, which at the moment has no operating system installed, but at 13% of expanding windows files, I always get the following error message:

Windows cannot install the required files. The file may be corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code: 0x80070017

What is wrong, how do I fix this? Is my Windows 7 disk damaged?
